Bakuchiol Oil
The seeds and leaves of Babchi’s plant (Psoralea corylifolia Linn.). As a gentle botanical alternative to retinol, bakuchiol stimulates skin cell turnover, in turn improving collagen production that helps to smooth fine lines & wrinkles while improving skin tone and texture.
Sweet Almond Oil
An excellent emollient and is known for its ability to soften and re-condition the skin. It is rich in proteins and Vitamins, and is considered extremely nourishing. Contains Olein Glyceride Linoleic Acid. It can be expected to sooth dry skin and irritated areas.
Grapeseed Oil
Rich in linoleic acid (Omega 6) which helps reduce the size of the skin’s pores. Suitable for all skin types but is particularly suitable for skin that is oily, large pored, acne-prone, thin damaged or sensitive.
Squalane
Derived from olive. Contains powerful anti-aging properties and anti-inflammatory benefits to help with skin conditions such as acne and eczema, and promotes the formation of collagen.

Is face oil suitable for oily skin?
Yes! Anyone can use face oil, even people with oily skin!
Face oils are excellent at balancing oily skin and helping to prevent skin dehydration (which can lead to more oil production). Eg. jojoba closely mimics the skin’s natural sebum, they can actually help to regulate oil production, making them suitable for acne prone, oily and combination skin. Myth busted!

Can face oil cause breakouts?
Lightweight plant-based oils tend NOT to cause breakouts unless you’re allergic to them. Acne can be caused by many other things such as genetics, hormonal imbalance, diet, lifestyle, and even stress. And face oil can help balance sebum production thereby reducing congested pores.
Can face oil replace moisturizer?
We don't recommend replacing moisturizer with face oil. Our face oil is a lightweight plant-based oil that absorbs quickly and penetrates deeper into the skin. It works mainly from within and strengthens the lipid layers while softening the outer layer of the skin.
Healthy and hydrated skin has an uncompromised skin barrier which requires a balance of both water and oil, so for the love of your skin, don't skip moisturizer.
Moisturizer and face oil work differently on the skin. Facial oils work well to nourish, smooth and soothe the skin while moisturizers help hydrate the skin and hold the moisture.
So we suggest using face oil as a supplement to improve the effectiveness of your current skincare routine.
Should face oil be applied before or after moisturizer?
Contrary to popular belief, IT DEPENDS entirely upon the product formulations. Not all oils are created equal, there are rich saturated oils (occlusives) and unsaturated oils (lightweight and penetrate deeper into the skin).
We recommend using our face oil before moisturizer as it is enriched with lightweight unsaturated botanical oils. Working mainly from within, our face oil formula helps rebuild the lipid layers. It sinks to the skin nicely while prepping and priming the skin for the moisturizer to follow.
